Day 35 - La Jolla, CA

We're staying two nights in La Jolla, so this is a rare day we don't have to drive anywhere. Not that we're sitting still for long. At 9:30am, we're out the door, heading to Sea World.

First stop, the Shamu BELIEVE show. Very fun.

They've really made this show more dynamic than I remember. The trainers get into the water with the whales and so some amazing things

We went to the dophin show next. It was pretty much the way I remember it

We bought the upsell "Dine with Shamu" package.

That got us a catered buffet lunch next to a tank while a trainer explained more about the care of the whales.

5:30pm

We return to my parent's condo where they are throwing a party. My brother and his boys are there. All the cousins have a blast running around together.

Well, tomorrow's the last day of the trip. I'm in denial. Fortunately, our route includes a stop at Universal Studios so there's plenty of distraction left in the final day.
