So, today's pretty much just a driving day. No interesting stops planed, but you know... traveling with 3 kids including a 2-year-old creates it's own interest along the way.
Elodie has taken a liking to "Alice". This morning she climbed in her lap to watch tv.

We stop for lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings Grill and Bar in Springfield, MO.
We're only 8 miles away from it, and I've suggested a side-trip to Fantastic Caverns, but no one seems interested. Guess that'll have to wait for another trip.

Arrive in Oklahoma City. We pass Bricktown on the way in.

Among other things, it contains the home of the Oklahoma Redhawks, the Tiple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers and so we add a sighting of another ballpark to our list.
7:15pm
We have dinner at the Interurban Classic Grill near our hotel in Yukon. Not a bad choice.
Day 28 - mile 6931
We check into our hotel (motel really, since we can drive to the door of the room... but the place is fairly new and nice). I take the older kids for a swim while Laura gets Elodie to bed. That works well for us. It's about 11pm now and soon will be lights out for everyone.
